Voucher Conditions

1. Scope & Issuer

These voucher terms and conditions apply to all gift vouchers purchased through the MINTU online shop (mintu.shop). The issuer is MINTU OG, Villach, Austria. Austrian law is applicable.

2. Types of Vouchers

There are two types: the value voucher for a freely selectable monetary amount (a multi-purpose voucher for VAT purposes) and the product voucher for a specifically designated product or bundle (usually a single-purpose voucher for VAT purposes). No monetary amount is shown on the product voucher.

3. Validity

Vouchers are valid indefinitely; redemption is possible within the statutory limitation period (30 years in Austria). No expiry occurs before the end of this period.

4. Redemption

Redemption takes place exclusively in the MINTU online shop by entering the voucher code during the order process. For product vouchers, the designated product is added to the shopping cart; the code covers this product. Per order, one or more vouchers can be redeemed, provided technically possible.

5. Remaining Balance, No Cash Payout

Value vouchers can be redeemed in several steps. Any unspent remaining balance remains on the voucher code and can be used for a later order. Cash payout of the voucher value or a remaining balance is excluded.

6. Transferability, Loss & Misuse

Vouchers are transferable. Anyone who presents the valid code is entitled to redeem it. The authorization of the redeemer is not checked. We assume no liability for the loss, theft, or unauthorized redemption of a code; in case of loss, the code cannot be replaced. Therefore, keep the code carefully.

7. Special Features of Product Vouchers

If the product specified on a product voucher is not (no longer) available at the time of redemption, the voucher can be converted into an equivalent product or a value voucher equal to the paid amount, subject to availability (inquiry with code). Should the regular selling price of the product have increased by more than 10% compared to the date of issue, we reserve the right to charge the difference before delivery.

8. Purchase with Discount Codes

If a voucher itself is purchased with a discount code, the effective benefit for product vouchers is limited to a maximum of 25%. Higher codes are effective up to this limit.

9. Combinability

Unless expressly stated otherwise, vouchers cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts on the same item. Membership or loyal customer benefits remain unaffected, as indicated.

10. VAT

For multi-purpose vouchers (value vouchers), VAT is incurred only upon redemption; the taxable base is the amount paid. For single-purpose vouchers (product vouchers), VAT is incurred already upon sale of the voucher.

11. Shipping & Delivery

Digital vouchers are delivered via email — immediately or on a chosen date. Postal delivery is possible upon request; the regular shipping costs of the shop apply.

12. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal expires upon full redemption of the voucher. Details are regulated in our cancellation policy.

13. Final Provisions

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions with effect for vouchers issued in the future. Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. Austrian law applies.
